Create Chart Dynamically

Post by joelang » Thu Jun 18, 2020 12:26 am

I understand how to create a chart based off a data range like:

Data!$A$2:$I$10

But, let's say I am dynamically creating a spreadsheet and I don't know how many rows (or columns) I will have. Right now I have to do something like this:

Data!$A$2:$I$1000

This will give me 1000 rows, but I could have 1500 or more and more columns as well. Is there a dynamic way to do this?

I tried to create the range as a table and then apply the chart to the table range (similar to how Excel can do it). With Excel, once it is a table, it automatically grows when new rows are added, but not in OnlyOffice. Is this a feature that is not supported?

Any of the developers can respond to this?

Hello joelang.
Sorry for late response. We reproduced the scenario and added bug to our internal tracklist.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell the exact time frames of the release of hotfix at the moment.

Thanks for your reply! I hope the fix won't take years :-) This is a feature most Excel users will use with charting.
