How to opening a file as template in document builder?

Post by armadi » Mon Jul 16, 2018 12:48 pm

Hi, I'm planning to use docbuilder for report downloading on my company.
but I didn't find a way to edit or push data to an existing doc file.
I want to use X doc file as a template then push data to it like this tx text control service: http://reporting.cloud
Is there any way to do it?

Hello armadi!
ONLYOFFICE Document Builder allows you to build a document easily without the need to actually run a document processing editor. But you need to upload your own script that will be converted to your document. ONLYOFFICE Document Builder doesn't need to run a document processing editor.
So you need to have a template in a script form and put needed information into this script and upload into ONLYOFFICE Document Builder and you will get docx file.
