First: Is there Postfix installed?
Second: what was the method of connecting Document Editors?

Postfix is installed. Document server is not installed yet. I will install it in a seperate server.
Do i need document server just to see the documents?

Yes, you do.

Postfix is closing port 25 by default. Please remove it and open port 25.

Is there a way to install the document server on centos or do i have to install it on Ubuntu or Windows? The instructions that you sent for installing the document server are for Debian derivatives.

Also if i remove portfix will emails work?

1) Now wee don't have an rpm-package of Document server. So, the only way is to compile 3.0 from source.

I have removed postfix and opened port 25 using this command

iptables -A INPUT -m state --state NEW -p tcp --dport 25 -j

The document server is installed in a seperate machine that has Windows Server 2012.

I have the appropriate URL's in the settings->Document Service. All url's are ok.

Now the error exception has been thrown.... is gone and a new came up!!

An object of type 'ASC.Web.Files.Services.WCFService.FileEntrySerializer+FileEntryResolver' which derives from DataContractResolver returned false from its TryResolveType method when attempting to resolve the name for an object of type 'System.Int32', indicating that the resolution failed. Change the TryResolveType implementation to return true.

The error in console is the same 400 bad request in the same url.

Can you please tell me what is wrong? I'm struggling with this setup for almost a month.
