HTTPS Nginx Docker Sites-Enabled Edits Not Saved

Post by CinnabarJack » Fri Jun 05, 2015 3:31 am

No problems setting up https in Nginx Docker but when I detach from the container, stop it, start it again, and re-attach, the virtual host file 'onlyoffice' in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled has reverted back to its default http (port 80) configuration rendering https inoperable.

All other edits and files created in the container-attachment login are saved, but the sites-enabled file is not. I am using nano as the editor in all cases. Upon attachment it appears that the session is a root-level login to the {id_container}.

Am I doing something wrong or is there something special /different about the way you have to edit the sites-enabled file? I noticed that directory permissions of sites-availalble and sites-enabled are very different but changing them has had no effect (same for file permissions).

Thanks for your help.

When the Docker-container stops (and as far as you EXIT it, it stops) the following script is run: https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/Docker-Co ... -server.sh
It checks the existance of the files onlyoffice.key, onlyoffice.crt (https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/Docker-Co ... sing-https) If they exist,we change the config file to the following one.https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/Docker-Co ... office-ssl
