Success from LAN but "ONLYOFFICE cannot be reached" from WAN

I'm using OnlyOffice with Nextcloud. I can access and edit documents from within Nextcloud while on my LAN but I receive the error in the title while trying to do the same from outside the LAN.

OnlyOffice runs on VM1, Nextcloud on VM2 and Nginx as a reverse proxy runs on VM3. Requests for cloud.example.com are proxied to Nextcloud (VM2). In the Nextcloud Admin settings, I added the OnlyOffice LAN IP.

I followed these instructions to install OnlyOffice on Ubuntu 16.04: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx

Any ideas what the problem is?

Hello jcconnell!
Use "Advanced server settings" in Nextcloud admin panel and put your local NC address in "Server address for internal requests from the Document Editing Service"
