[Community Server] LDAP users can't login with 9.5

Hi,

i upgraded our test environment with all the latest version and the ldap users can not login anymore.
I get this error :

Code: Select all

Login Fail. Invalid username-password combination
The local account (portal admin) can login without problem.

I downgraded just the Community Server to 9.1.0.418, and with this version the LDAP user can login.

Hi,

Same problem with an upgrade here after 2 syncs. With a fresh install, there's no problem.

if it can helps, i tried to save ldap settings in control panel and i get this error : LDAP domain not found.

In the log :

Code: Select all

info: settings/ldap/status completed=true, id=852826d1-f54e-47b1-87a4-39c9d7412659, status=Loading LDAP base info, error=LDAP domain not found., percents=100, certificateConfirmRequest=null, source=, operationType=Save

I am having the same issue, upgraded to 9.5 and LDAP users cannot login. Were you able to figure anything out?

I think you don't have to specify the protocol anymore, only the domain or the ip.

Hi,
I think you don't have to specify the protocol anymore, only the domain or the ip.
I tried to remove the "LDAP://" : same error :-/

I checked the sources, they changed a lot of things about how the ldap authentication is handled...

yes, we need to authenticate to get access on all attributes.

And the problem is still there?
Did you click "SYNC" button?

Note that now there are two fields - LOGIN and EMAIL
You should login via LOGIN or EMAIL
Please check portal user imported from LDAP server LOGIN and EMAIL fields - they could be changed.
