"encrypted" authentication token?

Post by Riebens » Mon Jun 18, 2018 10:05 am

Hi

Version 9.6.579 Community edition server

I am trying to access the API to get the authentication token, and during the process of retrieving the access token, i am presented with something that does not work when used in later calls :

It looks like the token is encrypted or encoded in some way.

I have looked in the documentation but cannot find where i may be making a mistake.

Any pointers to the correction of this issue will be greatly appreciate.

Kind Regards

Hi

Yes i did glance at it previously, but as it refers to the document server, I ignored it and only worked off the info for the community server.

I will try this and let you know.

Kind Regards
Ben

Feedback ...

Seems like the token is correct...
I just needed to extract it correctly..

I have put it in a variant now and that seems to allow all the other API calls to the community server to function correctly.

Thank you for your attention to this
