View only mode for pptx

Post by murdolk » Fri Jun 02, 2017 9:17 am

hi everyone.
I'm using Onlyoffice with Owncloud 9.0.8 via integration app. They are running on 2 separate servers.
My question is.
What and where can i change (config files) to enable read only mode (mode: view) for presentations (pptx) and everything else leave as it is (default edit settings for docx and xslx)?
thanks a lot for any help

Hello murdolk!
See here
You should disable following values

Code: Select all

"edit" => true, "def" => true

If both of them are disabled then i can not open the pptx in browser in view mode. instead of this browser downloads it every time i'm trying to open it.

Disabling only the first one did the trick :)
"edit" => true, set to "edit" => false,
Now it works so:
i can create and edit docx and xlsx, i can create not editable pptx and i can open it in browser in view mode.
now i need only to remove the option create pptx file from dropdown menu.

thnx a lot Maxim
