configuring onlyoffice droplet

Post by francisco_reyes » Mon Mar 16, 2020 2:04 am

Just setup onlyoffice using the Digital Ocean droplet. I am able to open/edit a document, but trying to integrate with nextcloud.
What do I need to enter on the "Document Service Location" page?
Not sure what to enter on these 3 fields and not finding the documentation page with the info

Document Editing Service Address
currently has: /ds-vpath/

Document Service address for requests from the Community Server
currently has: http://onlyoffice-document-server/. Tried to change it to the URL of the host and gave me an error: Healthcheck url: The remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway.

Community Server address for requests from the Document Service
currently has: https://<dns of the machine>

Is there a documentation page somewhere with a description of what each of those fields should have? Couldn't find it.

Hello francisco_reyes,

Please don't change any addresses in the portal settings. We strictly recommend to leave the default values there:
Document Editing Service Address /ds-vpath/
Document Service Address for requests from the Community Server http://onlyoffice-document-server/
Community Server Address for requests from the Document Service http://onlyoffice-community-server/

For Nextcloud integration, please install a separate Document Server. Instructions are available here:
https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/server/document.aspx
https://api.onlyoffice.com/editors/nextcloud

As in, I can't use the digital ocean onlyoffice droplet to integrate with Nextcloud?

That's right. We don't have any documentation regarding integration of ONLYOFFICE Community Edition with Nextcloud.
