Metrics or how many of my users are using onlyoffice

Post by Kelsar » Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:59 am

Hi,

we are using OnlyOffice (Docker) with Nextcloud.

Is there a way to find out how many users actually use onlyoffice via our Nextcloud instance? We are even willing to get a paid subscription, but we want to know how many users are using it right now.

Thanks in Advance

Hello Kelsar,

It is possible to enable "Info page", please follow these steps to activate it:

Docker

1. Run command

Code: Select all

sudo docker exec $(sudo docker ps -q) sudo sed -i '/allow 127.0.0.1;/,+1 s/^#*/#/g' /etc/nginx/includes/ds-docservice.conf

2. Reload nginx configuration using command

Code: Select all

sudo docker exec $(sudo docker ps -q) sudo service nginx reload
Linux/Windows

1. Open the following config /etc/nginx/includes/ds-docservice.conf (for Windows OS: C:\Program Files\ONLYOFFICE\DocumentServer\nginx\conf\includes\ds-docservice.conf);
2. Find the section below:

Code: Select all

# Allow server info only from 127.0.0.1
location /info {
  allow 127.0.0.1;
  deny all;
  proxy_pass http://docservice;
}
3. Comment lines allow 127.0.0.1; and deny all; of this section, so it looks like this:

Code: Select all

# Allow server info only from 127.0.0.1
location /info {
#  allow 127.0.0.1;
#  deny all;
  proxy_pass http://docservice;
}
4. Reload Nginx service with the command:

Code: Select all

service nginx reload
(or restart DocumentServer Proxy service for Windows OS)

5. Open your browser and enter the address of the Document Server, add /info/ to the end of the address. Example: https://your_documentserver_address/info/
