Owncloud creating shares on its own

Post by adamlevine » Tue May 22, 2018 7:09 am

There is a folder 'Emerald', owned by user1.
This folder is shared with the group 'Emerald' and only the group 'Emerald'.
User2, not in the group 'Emerald', logs in and sees folder 'Emerald (2) shared with him.
User2 can navigate the 'Emerald (2)' folder and sees all the 'Emerald' files and folders
User2 should NOT be able to see these folders as they are not shared with him.
When User2 logs in, a new row is created in the oc_share table with file_target of '/Emerald (2)' and shared_with of User2

Server configuration
Operating system: Ubuntu 14.04
Web server: Apache 2
Database: Mysql 5
PHP version: 5.5.9
ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 8.1.3
Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: updated
ownCloud log (data/owncloud.log):

Special configuration (external storage, external authentication, reverse proxy, server-side-encryption):
LDAP authentication
SMB external storage configured, but not part of problem.
