Nextcloud and OnlyOffice under one domain and different paths

Post by dasarne » Fri Oct 11, 2019 9:51 pm

Hello everybody,
I only have one domain so all services there have to live under different paths. On the server is a Nextcloud server, which is reachable under https://my.domain.de/nc and a OnlyOffice server, which is reachable under https://my.domain.de/oo.
The OnlyOffice server is in a Docker container (where I haven't changed anything), which can be reached under localhost:8880. With the instructions found at https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... proxy.aspx I created the following Proyx-Configuration:

Code: Select all

 #OnlyOffice Proxy

       Define VPATH /oo
       Define DS_ADDRESS localhost:8880

       <Location ${VPATH}>
               Require all granted
               SetEnvIf Host "^(.*)$" THE_HOST=$1
               RequestHeader setifempty X-Forwarded-Proto https
               RequestHeader setifempty X-Forwarded-Host %{THE_HOST}e
               RequestHeader edit X-Forwarded-Host (.*) $1${VPATH}
               ProxyAddHeaders Off
       </Location>

       ProxyPassMatch ^\${VPATH}(.*)(\/websocket)$ "ws://${DS_ADDRESS}/$1$2"
       ProxyPass ${VPATH} "http://${DS_ADDRESS}"
       ProxyPassReverse ${VPATH} "http://${DS_ADDRESS}"
Btw.: This configuration must be made for http and https, otherwise you got into trouble because the Nextcloud ONLYOFFICE integration app tries to access `GET http:\/\/my.domain.de\/oo\/cache\/files\/conv_check_876410214_docx\/output.docx\/check_876410214.docx?md5=VFrBl1Q7QHirw4DQXqMPQg&expires=1570827540&disposition=attachment&ooname=output.docx` which fails when there is no http configured. :roll:

I can now configure the OnlyOffice Url in the Nextcloud ONLYOFFICE integration app and get a connection. :D

If I now try to edit a document e.g. Test.docx I got the message
ONLYOFFICE is currently not available appears. Please contact your administrator
:(

The log output of the OnlyOffice Docker container does not output a message.
  • How do I get more information?
  • What am I doing wrong?
  • Is it even possible to operate OnlyOffice and NextCloud under one domain with different paths?
Yours
Arne

Hello Arne,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Please open the browser console and make screenshots of errors in Console and Network tab when trying to open a document.
