«telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Network is unreachable»
Something is wrong. This response looks like that something is blocking the connection or there is some issue with your network settings. Please clarify, incoming mails from Gmail to your portal also does not work? Have you checked out other email providers for incoming\outgoing mails? For example, Yahoo or something else.

I did some more research and verified that it is indeed my ISP that is blocking port 25: https://www.xfinity.com/support/article ... cked-ports
I can't find a way to unblock it, so I guess this is the end of the road for hosting a mail server on my network. I may look into getting a virtual server on DigitalOcean or other similar service.

Unless there is a way to get ONLYOFFICE to send mail and connect to other mail servers using port 587? I tried playing with SMTP server settings a bit, but couldn't figure out the correct settings if I switched to "Custom settings" to change the port. I tried using multiple accounts to authenticate, but the page told me authentication is not supported, but without authentication checked it just tells me "5.7.1 : Client host rejected: Access denied".

Once again, thank you for all of your help and support!

Please make screenshots of your SMTP settings and connection settings of mail account.
Also please reproduce the issue “"5.7.1 : Client host rejected: Access denied" > make a screenshot and attach whole Mail server logs folder to your reply.

I've attached the screenshots and logs. I'll admit I'm not sure what I would enter in the authentication fields, I tried the e-mail account credentials but that didn't seem to work.

Re: ONLYOFFICE Mail Server Timeout

Hello.
Sorry for the late reply.
We found a few errors in the logs.
1. How much RAM is installed on the server? Is it possible to increase it?
We found this issue: Jan 25 18:50:49 mail postfix/smtpd[512085]: lost connection after RSET
This entry probably is related to RAM value. Please check the same issue here: https://forum.iredmail.org/topic8952-ir ... lient.html

2. Also, we found this: Jan 25 16:32:26 mail opendkim[459]: 35E391A06D4: DKIM-Signature field added (s=dkim, d=gyozaguy.com)
It looks like something is wrong with DKIM DNS record. Please check it out.

3.One more thing.
Jan 28 04:47:15 mail postfix/smtpd[610154]: warning: onlyoffice-community-server.onlyoffice[172.19.0.5]: SASL PLAIN authentication failed:
Try to add these lines to main.cf file. It’s located inside of Mail Server container: /etc/postfix/
smtp_tls_security_level = may
smtp_sasl_tls_security_options = noanonymous

After that, leave the container and run docker exec -it onlyoffice-mail-server service postfix restart.
Also try to restart dovecot via docker exec -it onlyoffice-mail-server service dovecot restart

I had the same problem. I installed multiple times with different domain names (legitimate ones) and could never send or receive. Even though DNS was all green.
I ended up re-installing on Ubuntu 18.04.5 with ipv6 enabled. Additionally, I installed Docker using the instructions on their site before installing from the OO script.
I am not sure if it was the OS, ipv6, Docker version or some combination of that but my Email server is working fine now. Hope that helps.

Alexandre,

1. My server has 8GB RAM which should be plenty, shouldn't it? Almost nothing else runs on that machine.
2. The DKIM DNS record is correct, the DNS settings are all green and I manually checked all values just to make sure.
3. I checked the SMTP settings like you suggested, but those options were already set. I technically didn't find an option called "smtp_sasl_tls_security_options = noanonymous", but there was a very similar one called "smtpd_sasl_tls_security_options = noanonymous". I figured that's probably what you meant, but I added one for "smtp_sasl_tls_security_options = noanonymous" just in case anyway. These changes didn't make a difference.

ematechllc,

That's very interesting, and good to know I'm not the only one seeing these strange issues. I may try setting this up on a clean virtual machine to try to see if it behaves any differently. Thanks for the input!

I think a test with a clean installation on a separate server would be the best solution in this situation.
Please let us know the result.
