Mendeley Installation and Activation Issue

Hi All,

I'm trying to activate the Mendeley plugin option.

I follow the steps as outlined as directed here: https://www.onlyoffice.com/app-directory/mendeley

When I try to log in, I end up getting a 'waiting' screen (see attached screenshot)

Has anyone here come across this issue?

Has anyone that has come across this issue figured out how to get around it?

Hello mhollander,

Unfortunately, our Desktop Editors do not support Mendeley plugin. You can use it only when working via browser.

Hello mhollander,

A little update: Desktop Editors don't support Mendeley plugin, when working on a file locally.

The fact that it doesn't work when you connect Desktop Editors to a portal is a bug. We added it to our bug tracker and I hope it will be fixed in future versions. Sorry for the inconvenience. For now, it is only possible to work with Mendeley plugin via browser.
