Change port

Post by simsala » Thu May 31, 2018 3:20 pm

Is it possible to change port 8000 for DocService? This port is already occupied by another application that has not yet provided any possibility to change it. I installed OnlyOffice via the repository.

Update: I tried it with

Code: Select all

echo onlyoffice-documentserver onlyoffice/docservice-port select 8005 | sudo debconf-set-selections
and did reboot the server, but it did not have any impact.

Update2:
Okay, I figured out how to change the port. The above command probably only works with a new installation. An existing installation can be modified by modifying the following two files:

1. /etc/onlyoffice/documentserver/default.json
Replace line 53

Code: Select all

"port": 8000,
with

Code: Select all

"port": 8005,
if your new port is 8005

2. /etc/onlyoffice/documentserver/nginx/includes/onlyoffice-http.conf
Replace

Code: Select all

upstream docservice {
  server localhost:8000;
}
with

Code: Select all

upstream docservice {
  server localhost:8005;
}
