How to drop session?

Post by globber » Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:35 am

Hi there,
from time to time we have sessions that have timed out and the users get an error warning that they "cannot save the file". Mostly because they had let the session opened too long, over night, for example.

How (and where) can I kill these sessions explicitely?

I see these sessions in my PowerFolder log file and also as a session within my database, which ist the backend for Powerfolder.

Best regards
Globber

Hello globber!
How (and where) can I kill these sessions explicitely?
No, but you can configure default.json - parameters "sessionidle" and "sessionabsolute"
"sessionidle": "0", - is responsible for closing for inactivity, "1h" "1d"
"sessionabsolute": "0", - is responsible for unconditionally closing the connection after a certain time, "30d"
examples
Also you can close session using "DROP" parameter but to do this you need to know key and userId
