Hello mus!
Here we have announced support for the functions with conditional formatting it means that while opening a file conditional formatting will not be deleted like before. We will implement in the interface this function in 4.5 release.

Re: conditional formatting is there - but where is it?
That's really a bummer. We just did an evaluation of OnlyOffice and LibreOffice to see if we could avoid the MSFT extortion fee. I was quite impressed with how good OnlyOffice is, it was *way* better than I had expected. One of the key features that meant we couldn't replace MSFT Office with it was the lack of conditional formatting in spreadsheets. So, sadly this time we're going to have to upgrade to Office 2019.
We'll likely do another evaluation to see if we can use OnlyOffice as a document management system, as it was quite good at that too (especially for the price). Especially that for probably over 90% of the time, our users could simply use OnlyOffice and only occasionally would they even need to open documents in Excel and Word.

Re: conditional formatting is there - but where is it?
Hello cmurtagh,
We are planning to add full support of conditional formatting in the version 6.0 of ONLYOFFICE Document Editors. We hope to release it in August 2019 but the terms may shift. Sorry for the inconvenience.
