Hello Jue,

Community Server is a collaboration platform that consists of different modules: CRM, Projects, Calendar etc. To be able to edit documents stored in your Community Server, you have to also install the Document Server.

I recommend you to install ONLYOFFICE Community Edition using our script:
This way you will automatically get both Community and Document servers connected to each other.

Hallo Carl,

thank you for the quick answer and help.
We will use the free Version of OnlyOffice. That is the Community-Edition.

Is it right that the Community Edition consists of the document-server and the community-server (and both are free)?
The document, spreadsheet and so on (online)-document-editor are installed with the document server?
Is it possible to install these both servers (document and community) on one maschine? (I have just one.)
That is all i have t know before i can start a new installation.
I hope you can help me a last time.

Thanks a lot

ONLYOFFICE Community Edition is free, it consists of Community Server, Document Server and Mail Server (you can skip the installation of Mail Server). The document server is responsible for document editing, it includes document/spreadsheet/presentation editors.

Using the script you will get the components installed on one machine.
