Post by oestupin » Fri Jul 16, 2021 11:07 pm

I ask for help with a process that we have to integrate with an asp.net application.
We have the following scenario:
Scenario # 1
1. We install the Web application in Windows Server 2016 ISS
2. ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition for Windows was installed on a local server, following the instructions in this link. https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/de/in ... ndows.aspx
3. A valid SSL certificate was installed on the NGINX server and on the IIS server

With this configuration our application runs perfectly.

Scenario # 2.
1. We install the Web application in Windows Server 2016 ISS
2. ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition for Windows was installed on a local server, following the instructions in this link.
https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/de/in ... ndows.aspx
3. A valid SSL certificate was installed on the NGINX server
4. A Self-signed SSL certificate was installed in the IIS

With this setting NO [/ b] the application works correctly, The ONLYOFFICE editor is not displayed.
gets the following error: "Could not save the document. Please check the connection settings ....."

The nginx ds.conf configuration:
## HTTPS host
server {
listen 443 ssl;
listen [::]: 443 ssl default_server;
server_tokens off;
root / usr / share / nginx / html;
server_name neffi.filiusdoc.com;

## Strong SSL Security
## https://raymii.org/s/tutorials/Strong_S ... nginx.html
ssl on;
ssl_certificate "C: \ Certificates \ Valido \ onlyoffice.crt";
ssl_certificate_key "C: \ Certificates \ Valido \ onlyoffice.key";

# ssl_trusted_certificate "C: \ Certificates \ Export_IIS_Cert \ onlyoffice_bundle.crt";
# Uncomment string below and specify the path to the file with the password if you use encrypted certificate key
# ssl_password_file {{SSL_PASSWORD_PATH}};

ssl_verify_client off;
ssl_ciphers "EECDH + AESGCM: EDH + AESGCM: AES256 + EECDH: AES256 + EDH";

## ssl_ciphers ALL:! aNULL:! EXPORT56: RC4 + RSA: + HIGH: + MEDIUM: + LOW: + SSLv2: + EXP;
ssl_protocols TLSv1 TLSv1.1 TLSv1.2;

Can someone help us, Thanks

Hello oestupin.
Could you please reproduce the issue and attach whole Document server logs folder to your reply. It’s located here: Program Files (x86)\Ascensio System SIA\DocumentServer\Log
One more thing. According to your scenario, it looks like the issue is related to self-signed certificate. Is it possible to use CA-signed one?
