Hello tkdimm,

The instruction under the link is outdated, we are currently working on updating it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For now, we recommend using our installation script:
https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx

Hello Carl, thanks for the help!

Next, I will describe the installation events and some problems.

Installation was performed on a clean server according to the instruction https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx
OS CentOS Linux release 7.8.2003 (minimal)
bash opensource-install.sh (with "N")
or
bash install-RedHat.sh -os true

Result:
a. The problem is resolved (Failed to find or load the registered .Net Framework Data Provider.)
Notify-service and other are working

b. FAILS connection to DocumentServer (both local and external)
From the side CommunityServer (web interface)
ERROR: Converter url: download
From the side DocumentServer (/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/converter/out.log)
[ERROR] nodeJS - error downloadFile:url=https://onlyoffice.domain.reg:443/Produ ... y97MsU_)^M
Error: Error response: statusCode:403

c. By default installation MySQL include error due to mysql_native_password
ASC.TeamLabSvc - Can not start service NotifyServiceLauncher: MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException (0x80004005): Authentication to host 'localhost' for user 'root' using method 'mysql_native_password' failed with message: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) ---> MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException (0x80004005): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Solution:
- create new MySQL-user and grant all on *;
- run bash communityserver-configure.sh with new MySQL-user

Then i performed a little chaotic actions :)
1. Remove onlyoffice
yum remove onlyoffice-communityserver
yum remove onlyoffice-documentserver

2. Drop database onlyoffice

3. Install onlyoffice-communityserver
yum install https://download.onlyoffice.com/repo/ce ... noarch.rpm
yum install onlyoffice-communityserver
bash communityserver-configure.sh

Result: problem b. is resolved

Unfortunately, such a "reinstallation" method of installation and configuration raises concerns about the stability and reliability work of the bundle of all applications (onlyoffice, redis, elasticsearch and other).

Hello tkdimm,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Reinstalling the components and dropping the DB is not necessary. You just need to install the update using the script and after that run the post-configuration script communityserver-configure.sh.

Did a test clean install today (on a freshly deployed CentOS 7) via:
bash opensource-install.sh (with "N")
or
bash install-RedHat.sh -os true

This script forcibly installs Document Server...

In post-configuration Document Server (spawn documentserver-configure.sh) after typing AMQP.Host process nothing happens:
spawn documentserver-configure.sh
Configuring database access...
Host: localhost
Database name: onlyoffice
User: onlyoffice
Password:
Trying to establish PostgreSQL connection... OK
Installing PostgreSQL database... OK
Configuring AMQP access...
Host: localhost

I have working Document Server on another server
? How to run Community Server installation without Document Server installation
