Install Ubuntu 16.04

Post by andresgt2000 » Wed Aug 03, 2016 11:33 pm

Hi

I am new in onlyoffice.

First I Install with repositories and install in this order:
  • sudo apt-get install onlyoffice-communityserver -> all work fine
    sudo apt-get install onlyoffice-documentserver -> the configuration go to the hell
As I ruined installation; I uninstall everything and prepare the environment to install with dockers.

With the installation of dockers everything works fine, but did not ask me the credentials to create the database in mysql and not see it created the database.

Thanks for your help and assistance

Where I stay the database?

Can I with dockers reconfigured to store in mysql?

I see that storage is in / var / www / onlyoffice / Data, how do I change the configuration for the documents save in a iscsi a NAS?

Hello,

The first issue is connected to the installation on the same machine, which is not recommended.

For docker installation it creates DB inside the container, not on host. You may see the database created with:

Code: Select all

sudo docker attach onlyoffice-community-server
mysql
There is an instruction of connecting the external mysql DB top Community Server: http://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/server ... mysql.aspx
