Onlyoffice opensource - difference btw 'docked' and nodoc

Post by nprokofieff » Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:36 am

Hello collegue,

is it possible, that 'docked' version differ from Unix repo's edition?

Just install onlyoffice via apt-get and found:

1. documents can not be edited online (can only be downloaded and uploaded)
2. can not attach mail domain - can only add mailboxes.

Sincerely,
Nick

Document Server doesn't communicate with Community Server. Specify please what instruction did you follow to install?

Hello Maxim,

here's script I used to install it. Script written based on onlyoffice support pages (can not find link right now)

Code: Select all

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 3FA7E0328081BFF6A14DA29AA6A19B38D3D831EF
echo "deb http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian wheezy main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mono-xamarin.list
echo "deb http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian wheezy-apache24-compat main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mono-xamarin.list
echo "deb http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian wheezy-libjpeg62-compat main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mono-xamarin.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys CB2DE8E5
sudo echo "deb http://download.onlyoffice.com/repo/debian squeeze main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/onlyoffice.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install onlyoffice-communityserver
Sincerely,
Nick

Hello nprokofieff!
Installing Community Server for Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives - this instruction helps you to install Community server only. So you should install Document server and connect them. That'a why you're provided to download doc only.
