Debian 9 and 10 Installation Issues

Post by brdhze » Mon Aug 10, 2020 3:27 pm

Hello,
I tried to install the Communityserver Edition of ONLY Office and followed these official instructions.
https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/de/se ... ation.aspx

I have tried to install it on two different debian systems:
Here is the bug from debian 10 (buster)

I have installed the necessary packages mono (officially from mono-project.com) , node.js , mariadb (server+client) , nginx and elasticsearch.

In the section :

Add GPG key:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys CB2DE8E5
Add Community Server repository:
sudo echo "deb https://download.onlyoffice.com/repo/debian squeeze main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/onlyoffice.list
sudo apt-get update

and with the subsequent installation command
Install Community Server:
sudo apt-get install onlyoffice community server

I get the following error message :
"The following packages have unfulfilled dependencies:
onlyoffice-communityserver : Depends on: mysql-server but cannot be installed
Depends on: mysql-client is not installable
Depends on: elasticsearch (=6.5.0) but 7.8.1 should be installed.
E: Problems cannot be fixed, you have retained broken packages

Under debian 9 I get a slightly different bug:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
onlyoffice-communityserver : Depends on: mono-webserver-hyperfastcgi but should not be installed
Depends on: elasticsearch (= 6.5.0) but 6.8.11 should be installed
E: Problems cannot be corrected, you have retained defective packages.

Does anyone have any idea what else I can do to get this working?

Yours sincerely

Hello,

Unfortunately, this guide is outdated and we are working on updating it.

Please use our installation script instead of manual installation:
