I have to install onlyoffice with nextcloud on a different port than 443 because tis port is already in use. I have an working Nextcloud installation.

Nextcloud can be reached by

I have installed onlyoffice via docker. I can reach the config page by ma local network with Also I can reache it by When I try to do (without welcome) it takes me to (the port is missing) and I get an error.

This is my nginx for the onlyoffice:

Code: Select all

server {
        listen 443 ssl http2;

        # Include SSL configuration
        include /etc/nginx/snippets/ssl.conf;

        # Configuration for OnlyOffice
        location / {
                proxy_redirect off;
                proxy_set_header Host $http_host;
                proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
                proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
                proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $server_name;
                proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme;
This is my run-command:

Code: Select all

docker run --name=ONLYOFFICEDOCKER -i -t -d -p 4433:443 -e JWT_ENABLED='true' -e JWT_SECRET='geheimes-secret' --restart=always -v /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/data:/var/www/onlyoffice/Data onlyoffice/documentserver

I have set the setting in nextcloud for document server to and when I press save I got an error:

Fehler beim Anschlie├čen (Im Dokumentenservice ist ein Fehler aufgetreten: Error while downloading the document file to be converted.)

If it will be possible to run onlyoffce on a seperate port?
Please, can anyone assist me? I spent hours on this issues without any luck.

Thank alot

Hello ArgqWow!

By default Document Server listens to the incoming connections using port 80. Starting with version 4.3 you can change the port for Document Server if you plan to use it instead of the default one.
This can be easily done changing the mapping port during the installation:

Code: Select all

sudo docker run -i -t -d -p <PORT_NUMBER>:80 --restart=always onlyoffice/documentserver

Code: Select all

is the number of port you want Document Server to use.
I think changing 443 port as a default port for HTTPS is not good idea. Is 443 port already busy with SSL certs?
