Post by bforpc » Tue Jul 04, 2017 10:55 am

i have 3 different VM's at my hoster running:
1- ngnix Proxy (with all ssl certs for 2. & 3.)
2. nexcloud
3. OO

Nexclout is accessing OO via
Direct access to the OO Server via "https://IP-address" is not working, because on OO server is no https running (only at the proxy).
Access via "http://IP-address" is not working (because bextcloud comes from https->http)

Therfore my question: How do i secure the OO Server? He is standing viewable for all?

Hello bforpc!
You can use secret key
"To restrict the access to ONLYOFFICE Document Server and for security reasons and data integrity the encrypted signature is used. Specify the Secret key in the ownCloud/Nextcloud administrative configuration. In the ONLYOFFICE Document Server config file specify the same secret key and enable the validation."
Also please info about using of JWT and signature
