Problem connecting Community Server to Document Server

Post by BoofBaf » Thu Apr 11, 2019 5:23 pm

Hello,
I am having an issue connecting the Community Server to the Document Server. I am getting the following error on the Community Server settings page:

Code: Select all

"Api url: Service is not defined"
I have installed the Community Server and Document Server on the same Debian server using the following guides:
  1. Community Server Install: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx
  2. Switched Community Server to SSL: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... https.aspx
At this point, Community Server is running and functional.
  3. Install Document Server. Followed instructions to change port to 88: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx
  4. Connect Community Server to Document Server: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... erver.aspx
At this point is where I get the above error message.
I am using the following settings to connect the Document Server to the Community Server: On the SSH terminal of my server I am able to successfully retrieve files from the first two addresses using wget. so

Code: Select all

wget http://hostname:88/web-apps/apps/api/documents/api.js
successfully retrieves the file

Any ideas or troubleshooting steps appreciated.

Hello,

These addresses are not correct.

To install Community Server and Document Server on one machine, please use this instruction:

https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/serve ... ation.aspx

This way all the components will be configured automatically.
