Letsencrypt doesn't renew automatically

Post by kommid » Wed Oct 18, 2017 7:44 am

Yersterday, our Onlyoffice server was not accessible at all, because the letsencrypt certificate expired and due to HSTS there was no way to get to the controlpanel because all browsers refuse to offer an exception.
Is there a way, to manually renew the certificate from the command line (Docker version)? To be honest, the documentaion is a bit 'thin' on this topic and if your production server with several people working on it, is not accessible anymore for hours or even days, because support takes up to 48 hrs. to react, this is not, how it should be.
How does one deal with expiring letsencrypt certificates, that shoud not occur in the first place? Is it a (known) bug? Is there a way to at least turn off HSTS so the certificate can be deleted and set up anew?

Hello kommid!

Thank you for the information! We have detected the bug! We will fix it next release!
But anyway you can allow your browser to continue connection to your portal, log in, delete old certs and create new.
