Hello OO community,
I'm enjoying the DocumentServer and have been tuning the "key" parameter of the editor's document config so that users of our assessment system recover the work they do even if they have to change machine: the key is made of the filename and the user-name. This is a nifty usage of the collaborative feature!
It seems even to be so, that coming back with the same key a few days later still gets you everything that was there.
But how can I estimate if the content will stay long and safe?
I think that this is not documented anywhere because most people use external storage engines.
My suggestion is that this answer could be made into the parameter's description.
thanks in advance.
Paul
How long should a "key" be available?
Re: How long should a "key" be available?
Hello,
Is it stand-alone Document Server? Could you please specify which components and versions do you use?

Thanks,
DocumentServer standalone (on Debian Linux) version 5.4.0-21.
We run without a community server.
From what a colleague looked at in the source, it seems to be that deletion does not happen per default in the production configuration. Is that true?
thanks
