how to save the doc manualy and quicken the process

Post by hnczlk@sina.com » Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:04 am

Hi, goodman,

Im wondering how to save the doc manualy, I knew there a method called destroyEditor() that can close and save the docEditor, but actually i dont want to close the docEditor.

And 10 secs is too long for me, any way to quicken the process ?

Besides, I want to save the doc synchronously , it that possible?

thanks in advance.

Hello,

You can enable forcesave to manually trigger the document saving:
https://api.onlyoffice.com/editors/save#forcesave

As for 10 sec, please read this to learn why save delay is necessary:
https://api.onlyoffice.com/editors/save#savedelay

As for syncronous saving, please specify what you mean here and why you need this.

I know there is a param named forcesave, and I had already changed savedelay to 20ms, but the save process still take about 5s, it's seems too slow for me.

as for syncronous saving, I mean save-wait-done-showSuccess in the browser , so the users won't feel any delay.
