Update Community-Version and change to Enterprise-Version

Post by Christofer » Tue Jul 06, 2021 9:33 am

Hello Community,

we have a Docker Community-Server in the Version 10.5 and now i will upgrade it to Version 11.5 and after that we will change it to the Enterprise-Version, because we need some Functions from it. When i read the Update Guide on:

https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/de/in ... ocker.aspx

I don't find the Upgrade-Way for the Version 10.5. The Manual is only for the Version 8.1 till 9.1. Sorry, but have I missed something?

Thanks for Help!

Hello Christofer.
Please make whole server backup (just in case) and follow my steps to update your installation:
1. Go to the host and run wget https://download.onlyoffice.com/install ... install.sh
2. bash workspace-install.sh -u true

Hello Alexandre,

thanks for Answer, what makes the workspace-install.sh ?

I am not happy with the Docker-Version of OnlyOffice and after the Upgrade from 10.5 to 11.5 we will change to the Linux-Version und use also Nextcloud on the same Server before we upgrade to the Enterprse-Version.

Greetings

Christofer

workspace-install.sh is an installation script. -u flag means that script will update all components to the latest versions. You can check information here: https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/insta ... eters.aspx
after the Upgrade from 10.5 to 11.5 we will change to the Linux-Version und use also Nextcloud on the same Server
I don’t think this is a good idea. Usually we recommend to use separate clean server for ONLYOFFICE. It’s necessary to avoid ports and dependicies conflicts.
