How to enable Authenticator App in community edition

Hi all,

How can I make 2FA authentication with an Authenticator App work with the Community Edition?

https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/guide ... ation.aspx

I don't have the choice "by authenticator app" in Portal Access.

kind regards,
Jan

Two factor authentication

Hi there,

I'm running an instance of the Community Server for charities / non-profits and would like to use my own SMS service for two factor authentication as we can't afford the commercial services.

Is there any documentation available how I can go about that?

kind regards,
Jan

Re: Date format

Hi Maxim,

Everywhere :-)

Currently dates are shown as M/D/YYYY (for example 18th of June 2018 = 6/18/2018).

Here in New Zealand, we write the 18th of June 2018 as 18-06-2018

Re: Activation emails stopped working - reboot resolves issu

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for your reply; I'll try that next time it happens.

However I might not discover this in a timely fashion. Would you suggest to restart the onlyOfficeNotify service periodically?

Do you have pointers to help me discover the cause for this?

kind regards,

Date format

Hi there,

I was not able to search the forum for "how can I change the date format" as phpBB thinks those words are too generic.

Is there a way to change the date format from M/D/YYYY to something else?

kind regards,
Jan

Activation emails stopped working - reboot resolves issue??

Hi there, This used to work fine.... today I wanted to change the email address of the Portal administrator and discovered that OnlyOffice no longer is sending activation emails. I see the green pop up box saying that the email has been sent successfully but I don't see email arriving in my mailbox ...

Re: Connection Mobile Apps to Portal - SOLVED

Hi Carl,

My bad. The nginx.conf file didn't have the Let's Encrypt fullchain listed.
Replaced cert.perm with fullchain.pem and all is working beautifully.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Re: Connection Mobile Apps to Portal

Hi Carl, I've checked the cert (issued by Let's Encrypt) and it's all fine: 4 green check marks. One warning sign saying "The certificate is not trusted in all web browsers. You may need to install an Intermediate/chain certificate to link it to a trusted root certificate. Learn more about this erro...
