Add watermark to documents

Postby alexis.rosano » Wed Dec 13, 2017 4:27 pm

Hi all!

My question is simple, I need to add a watermark (an image at the top of the document) when I print the document.

Is that posible in anyway? Intercept the print command?

Regards!

Hello alexis.rosano!
What about header or footer?

Hello Maxim, thanks for your answer!

Yes, something like that but with an image. I need to do this automatically, like choosing a template with the header and the image.

Is that possible? Add a template? Modify it by code?

Regards!

Hello alexis.rosano!
It's possible. There must be a file with that image inside (like a template) and the document server will open that file automatically when you click "Create file".

Hello!

The option Create file is inside the OnlyOffice dashboard or you mean the Create file of Nextcloud?

Hello alexis.rosano!
i mean that it's possible using the Document Server. But if we mean Document Server+NextCloud, in that case there is no that option to do it automatically.

Hello alexis.rosano!
Where I have to place that file?

If you integrate Document Server into your system you are able to place that file where you want.
For example (Onlyoffice Enterprise Edition) - if you click "Create file" Community Server takes that template (blank file) and stores it in the folder where you create it and send request to the Document Server (editor) to open this file via "this link'. Document Server opens this file according to the URL received from the Community Server. You (as Integrator) can place this template where you want and this template can be with some content.
