Community Server Docker install + HTTPS

Postby ScrewheadXL » Thu May 24, 2018 6:54 pm

Greetings,

I need to understand how to set up the docker install of OnlyOffice Community Server so it can be accessed only using HTTPS. I wish to integrate it with Nextcloud. I already have an SSL certificate generated that I want to utilize. How do I make this work? I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 and not finding the tutorials helpful.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hello ScrewheadXL!
1. You should use Ubuntu 16.04 or 14.04. There are no some needed libraries in Ubuntu 18.04. Onlyoffice doesn't support Ubuntu 18.04 for now.
2. "I wish to integrate it with Nextcloud". You can integrate Document Server with Nextcloud but not Community Server.
3. To install Document Server for Docker see here
Onlyoffice Help Center
Onlyoffice on Github

I've hit a snag on the final step where the instructions read "You are now just one step away from having our application secured". I'm using self-signed certificates and all the defaults prescribed in the prior steps. I created an environment file with the specified format to define where the certificates are and ran the "docker run --env-file env.list onlyoffice/documentserver" command. The server is running, but its not using the certificates as I cannot connect to it with HTTPS.

What am I doing wrong?
