Try the fastest and simplest way to install ONLYOFFICE

Make OnlyOffice (Docker) listen to a specific IP.

Questions/problems on Docker

Make OnlyOffice (Docker) listen to a specific IP.

Hello,

I am currently evaluating OnlyOffice EE, and run OnlyOffice via Docker. But I need to make OnlyOffice listen to a specific internal IP (The hosting server has several IP's).
When running:# docker ps -a --no-trunc I was hoping I would get the OnlyOffice startup command so I could just use the -p parameter to set the IP, but the startup cmd apparently points to a shell script within the container itself. How do I go about keeping all "default" settings and just change the listening IP from all to one specific IP using parameter -p?

Code: Select all
docker ps -a --no-trunc
onlyoffice4enterprise/communityserver-ee:9.5.1.517
/usr/bin/dumb-init -- /app/onlyoffice/run-community-server.sh
 0.0.0.0:80->80/tcp, 0.0.0.0:443->443/tcp, 3306/tcp, 5280/tcp, 9865-9866/tcp, 9871/tcp, 9882/tcp, 0.0.0.0:5222->5222/tcp, 9888/tcp

Thanks.

Hello oblivian!
But I need to make OnlyOffice listen to a specific internal IP

Do you need to set this internal IP as DNS?

Hello Maxim,

The OnlyOffice hosting server will be behind a reverse-proxy (Nginx).
Nginx (Public IP) <-> OnlyOffice (Private IP).
I guess the DNS setting in OnlyOffice will point to the public IP?

When examining the startup script (I think) it seems the shell script is approx. 500 lines! :?
Is there a condenced version of the Docker startup command in the docs perhaps, or is the actual startup command dynamic inherent to each install/environment?

There is no. You should configure your Nginx Server with Public IP how to communicate with Onlyoffice server.
Maybe it will help you.
