Problem with mail server after using https

Postby wah123123 » Thu Aug 03, 2017 4:33 am

So after using https to register and activate portal on a fresh installation on only office, i cannot setup any mail domain or access mail settings menu on the sidebar.
This happen only when using https, and will happen even after trying to do the initial portal and mail setup with http and then migrate to https.

This is what i got from browser console when the error happen.

Code: Select all
api/2.0/mailserver/serverinfo/get.json?__=92395&__=92395&__=92395 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Invalid arguments)

Code: Select all
{"status":1,"statusCode":400,"error":{"message":"Invalid mx host\u000aParameter name: builder","hresult":-2147024809,"data":{}}}

And i believe i follow the guide for using https correctly by putting and renaming certificate into the "certs" folder.

Thanks!

Hello wah123
Please specify what instruction you followed to install Onlyoffice and what instruction you used to run your portal with https?

Hi Maxim
After installation using the bash script provided here https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/server/docker/opensource/opensource-script-installation.aspx

I proceed to generate with lets encrypt, rename, and copy certificate data into the folder specified in these links

https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/server/docker/community/run-using-https.aspx
https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/Docker-MailServer

Reboot the server and then proceed the initial configuration.

So after this when i go to the mail server section, nothing happens when i clicked the wizard for setting up first domain, and when i click the mail server settings on the side bar i got the internal server error and the same message popped up in browser console.

Reverting back to http still give me the error after this step, Everything works fine if i go full http, but it is not secure

the file generated by lets encrypt that was renamed is
privkey.pem > onlyoffice.key
fullchain.pem > onlyoffice.crt
cert.pem > cabundle for mail server ( but will still give the same error without touching any file on the mail server cert)

Thanks!

Hi maxim

I think i had the same issue with this topic
http://dev.onlyoffice.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10274

I'm currently testing a trial on enterprise and a non-enterprise edition and got the same error.

But it seems the the script that you provide on the topic above only work on enterprise edition only, because it does solve the error but not on the non-enterprise edition.
Can i get the fix script for the non enterprise edition?

Hello wah123123!
The script which is mentioned here should work with Onlyoffice Docker installations (no matter Enterprise or Community), the main thing is that there must be mysql container.
