Document Server plugin on IE11

Hello,

We try to integrate a plugin on document server. It works with Chrome, FF, Edge but not with IE 11.

The editor doesn't request the config.json plugin file. There's no JS error or warning and no networks error.

Do plugins work with IE11?

Hello guillaume.houdmon!
What plugin do you mean? Please specify plugin you've integrated.

Not solving your problem but FYI: I am just deveolping a plugin and can confirm that it runs also in IE11. So, gerenrally plugins in IE11 work.
Good luck!

Hi;

Like guillaume.houdmon said, custom plugins are not visible on IE11. On Chrome and FF i can see the plugins icon.

I'm looking for if the problem isn't related to a cross-domain constraint.

I'll keep you informed.

Hello guillaume.houdmon!
I don't think so, but thank you for keeping us informed.

I can see my plugin in E11, but it was a hard work.

I've 2 subdomains:
* https://onlyoffice.acme.com
* https://myapp.acme.com

My plugin is hosted at https://myapp.acme.com/plugins/. I add the header Access-Control-Allow-Origin on it.

It's work with all browers ... except IE11. I think it's because the iframe loads the url https://myapp.acme.com/plugins/ (too much croos-domain for IE).

My workaround is to avoid cross-domain with a nginx proxy which proxifies url like https:/onlyoffice.acme.com/myappproxy/(.*) to https://myapp.acme.com/$1

My config is like :
{ ...
pluginsData: ["https://onlyoffice.acme.com/myappproxy/plugins/config.json"],
...
}

My NGINX proxy in /etc/nginx/includes/onlyoffice-document-myappproxy.conf

location ~ ^/myappproxy/(?<fwd_path>.*)$ {
resolver XX.XX.XX.XX;
proxy_pass https://myapp.acme.com/$fwd_path$is_args$args;
proxy_ssl_server_name on;
proxy_set_header Host myapp.acme.com
proxy_redirect off;
}

A lack of documentation ...
