### Missing unicode symbols in presentation / equation

**Fri Oct 20, 2017 8:34 am**It is unclear to me how I can get symbols in an equation (presentation editor) that are not supplied in the symbols list:

For example, I'd like to have the subset symbol ⊂ from the unicode table:

I tried a couple of things:

1) paste the symbol in an equation, then it just doesn't render the symbol, or the editor crashes (one time i couldn't open the file anymore (it got stuck at 100% loading))

2) paste the symbol, outside of an equation: then it only renders when i select the font OpenSymbols

3) typed the actual unicode symbol (in ubuntu, using SHIFT+CTRL+U, then type 2882+SPACE), in the equation -> the editor crashes, couldn't open the file anymore

Perhaps the easiest solution would be to extend the symbols list with some of the more common symbols, such as the subset symbol?
