Suggestion: Aggregated calendar as iCal feed

Postby Moinois » Sun Jan 29, 2017 12:36 pm

Hi,

I'm quite new to OpenOffice and I'm currently testing things out.

 I really like that I can use the calendars as iCal sources but since I will be adding multiple projects and they all come with a calendar I would really appreciate one iCal link for an aggregated calendar that will contain all my calendars so that it will be updated automatically if I join or leave projects, rather than having to manually manage them on all my devices that I use.

Is it feasible and what do you think of the idea?

Best regards,
Magnus

Hello Moinois,
I totally support your idea and give it a +1 for now.
Actually Ithink It would also be great to be able to configure user (and group) rights of an aggregatet calendar in a way that users can also see all entries from all projects even though they are not signed to all tasks. That way you could have an overview of what's going on quickly with the help of your mobile device and plan tasks accordingly. Right you only have that on the Gantt view (correct me if I am wrong), which to see it needs you to log on and navigate ther and set filters accordingly to see everything.

greets,
marli
