I downloaded the OnlyOffice VirtualBox image (Ubuntu) and am running it on a Windows 10 box. I followed the given network instructions plus I gave the virtual machine a static IP on my network. OnlyOffice was working great on our internal network.
Now I'm working to add internet access.
I do not have great network admin support. I finally got them to forward port 8888 to port 80 on the virtual machine. Now when I access it that way (be it internet or external from our network), I can login fine but the document editor will not come up. I get the message "ONLYOFFICE is not available. Please contact us at email@example.com". I came here since I'm running the Community version.
I researched the error but the scenarios that I saw were a bit different from mine and I've been unable to nail down the issue. Any suggestions appreciated.
