Is the ActiveX subfold useful when building Document Server?

Postby jxmsz001 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 3:47 am

I'm trying to build the Document Server from the source code. I have noticed that in the source code tree of version 2.5.7, there is a subfold named ActiveX and in version 3.0.0 source tree, the ActiveX subfold is disappeared.

But in the <docserver_home>/build/projects/build.proj, I can still see ActiveX is announced in it.

I don't know if the ActiveX necessary when building Document Server? If yes, why the subfold is not include in version 3.0.0, and what is the subfold used for? Hope for your reply! Thanks!

ActiveX is necessary for windows version. ActiveX is not needed for building Document Server 3.0 from the source code under unix.
