SpellCheck failing to start

Postby jtinsley » Thu Apr 06, 2017 2:57 pm

The SpellCheck server is crash-looping / failing to start via supervisor, on a deb-installed package, on Debian Jessie:
log
Error: The module '/var/www/onlyoffice/documentserver/server/SpellChecker/node_modules/nodehun/build/Release/nodehun.node'
was compiled against a different Node.js version using
NODE_MODULE_VERSION 48. This version of Node.js requires
NODE_MODULE_VERSION 51. Please try re-compiling or re-installing
the module (for instance, using `npm rebuild` or`npm install`).

Also, documentation mentions restarting it via systemd, but the system isn't running the daemons via systemd.

Finally, forums are using http, modern firefox & chrome are not happy about this!

Hello jtinsley!
There is a problem with node.js version you're using.
We advice you to install Node.js v6.10.2.

Hi,

Downgraded node.js from 7 -> 6 now, and it's started ok, thanks :)
