Docker : Container stops

Postby VincentD » Sat Mar 25, 2017 4:16 pm

Hello every one,

I'm trying to configure OnlyOffice with Docker on my Ubuntu 14.04 (with Plesk) server.
Where I try to run the OnlyOffice container, i get this log in the console, and then it stops :

Code: Select all
 * Starting PostgreSQL 9.3 database server
   ...done.
Starting redis-server: redis-server.
 * Starting message broker rabbitmq-server
   ...done.
Starting supervisor: supervisord.
onlyoffice-documentserver:docservice: stopped
onlyoffice-documentserver:docservice: started
onlyoffice-documentserver:converter: stopped
onlyoffice-documentserver:converter: started

I'm facing the exact same issue on Docker for Mac.
Any clue ?

Thanks in advance,
Vincent.

Hello VincentD!
1 It's not good idea to use OO server with Plesk on one machine. Plesk needs to reserve ports (80, 443) which are also necessary for OO server. It will lead to some problems as the result and you won't be able to work with OO server correctly.
2 If container stops automatically it means that Docker itself stops the container due to a reason. Try to install OnlyOffice server on another machine (not with Plesk) using this instruction or this one

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for your reply. It should work with correct Docker Proxy rules, shouldnt it ? I'd didn't mention that Plesk runs Docker (it's not running on it).
Anyway I'm facing the very same issue on my Mac (with no other web server installed on it).

Thank you.
Vincent.

Hello VincentD!
Yes it should.....if you configure rules correctly.
So just to test, it would be great to reinstall another version of OnlyOffice. If you installed before Community Edition try to intstall Enterprise Edition now or vice versa. Let's see the results.
