Desktop Editors on Arch Linux

Postby p4r53c » Tue Nov 15, 2016 10:55 am

HI!

I'm an ArchLinux user and i would like to see Desctop Editors in Arch's AUR repos, but I have on any instructions on how to build the project from the source code.
Yours GUI installer doesn't resolve dependencies.

We have two ways:
1. Create PKGBUILD script to build DE by yours instructions, if you provide them :)
2. Create PKGBUILD of binaries package, if you describe in detail the dependencies.

Analysis a .deb package doesn't give us enough information about dependencies.

Can some one of DEVs help us?
More information about what I want - here.

Thanks!

Hello!
Once again here it is http://teamlab.info/download-desktop.aspx
In the end of list of OnlyOffice versions you'll find portable version - Current Version: 4.1.2-33/Release Date: 11/15/2016 File Size: 241 MB/Platforms: Linux distribution (64-bit)

I grab a portable edition (http://download.onlyoffice.com/install/ ... x64.tar.gz) and tested it.

It works! Probably the AUR maintainers will make a package from portable edition...

But I don't understand why OF developers don't make GUI-installer for portable edition. Current Installer installs OF without dependent libraries.
Just extract in /opt/onlyoffice and create a desktop entry and symlink... that's all. :)

P.S. Can we speak Russian? :)

Nope :)

Link http://teamlab.info/download-desktop.aspx redirects me to http://www.onlyoffice.com/ .
I go to "Download" (http://www.onlyoffice.com/download-desktop.aspx) and In the end of list of OnlyOffice versions i find only DEB\RPM packages and GUI installer (Current Version: 4.1.2-33
Release Date: 11/2/2016 File Size: 185 MB
Platforms: Linux distribution (64-bit)
)

Seriously, I am not joking. :)

Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
Referer: http://dev.onlyoffice.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9268

Resp:
Code: Select all

Yes, but not through your link.
I had a direct link. Through teamlab I can't download it.

Portable version works fine.
