error during community server installation

Postby Yoann » Fri Feb 05, 2016 12:08 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to install, on a new serveur, OnlyOffice Community Server on debian jessie 8 release.
At apt-get update command I'm receiving this message:

onlyoffice-communityserver
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Can you help me ?
Thanks,
Yoann

Please try:

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get remove onlyoffice-communityserver
sudo apt-get autoremove

And try installing once again.

We have this problem because redis with OpenVz/ProxMox is not stable (at least with our OpenVz version).
I test with an external redis (installed on a physical server) and OnlyOffice works.

But i have a question : Can we use an external redis-server without problem ?

Thanks for your help,
Yoann

Hello,

we never made any tests with external redis. I will contact our developers to check if it works fine.
