[Community server] Ubuntu 16.06.2 installation problem

Postby weshpoupou » Wed May 17, 2017 4:40 pm

Hi,

I've installed Document Server on a first machine : OK
On the second one, Community Server doesn't seem to work... ("Sorry, portal is on maintenance. It may take a few minutes.")

I've followed these instructions : http://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/server/linux/community/linux-installation.aspx but I think the password I used for the MySQL database ("onlyoffice") is a wrong one, or doesn't match with the package script...

Is there anybody in the same situation ?

Hello weshpoupou!
Did you install earlier database on the second machine? If yes you should use your old password to DB.
According to this instruction which you mentioned above "The script does not create users for the database and does not change passwords for existing users." That's why you can use your existing DB.
After running /var/www/onlyoffice/configure.sh configuration script you are able to create the database and pass to DB or use the existing DB with your pass.
There is no DB "onlyoffice'.

Thank you for your answer ; however, i'm still stuck.
It's a fresh installation so MySQL wasn't installed before.
I followed this video :

At the end of installation, there is no configure.sh in the /var/www/onlyoffice directory
