Rows are deleted when I filter my data in a spreadsheet

Postby dsi-lille » Mon Jul 11, 2016 2:08 pm

Hi,

with a simple spreadsheet (like two columns with 1000 lines of data), I use a filter on both column (A and B) and this filter options : "Sort Lowest to Highest" or "Sort Highest to Lowest".
If i close the editor and i re-open the spreadsheet some rows are deleted.

We use the docker version with the latest version for the community (8.9.0.118) and document server (4.0.0.9).

Can you help me ?
Thanks,
Yoann

Hello,

Could you please send us a screenshot of the issue or the link to the spreadsheet (for external users)?

Hello,

thanks for your answer.

The link : http://docker-onlyoffice.ac-lille.fr/pr ... z0_Ijc3Ig2

Of you want to reproduce the bug, you have to follow this steps :
- add a filter on both colum (A and B)
- use "Sort Lowest to Highest" or "Sort Highest to Lowest" options
- close the editor
- and re-open the spreadsheet

thanks again,
Yoann.

Yoann,

The rows are not deleted, they are sorted in the lower part of the spreadsheet. To avoid the issue you need to merge columns in formated table or autofilter

Eugenie,

i don't get it.

i create a spredsheet with 300 rows in column A with value from 1 to 300
i add a filter on this column with "Sort Highest to Lowest" option
the filter works, my value are sorted from 300 to 1 and i still have 300 rows
i close the spreadsheet, wait a little and re-open it

result : they remains only 257 rows (value from 300 to 45). (see https://escola.ac-lille.fr/products/fil ... z0_Ijc3Ig2)
If i search in the spredsheet for the value between 44 and 1 : no result (except for the value 2, row 300)
conclusion : some rows are deleted

Thanks for your help,
Yoann
