Control panel returns Mono 404 error after update

Postby Edarron » Sat May 14, 2016 11:52 am

Hello!

After recent update of Control Panel (now it's ver. 1.5.0.11) it was not accessible (502 bad gateway error).
I've tried to restart mono inside the CP and Community server containers and also restarted the whole containers.

After these manipulations I suddenly got 404 error from Mono
System.Web.HttpException
The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404.The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Details: Requested URL: /controlpanel/Default.aspx

Screenshot is also attached.

Further restarts didn't help. Could you please tell how can I fix that?
Currently I'm able to access Community Server and Mail-server, but can't update anything OO-components.

Please try to change the URL from /controlpanel/Default.aspx to /controlpanel/Https and try again.

Also please specify the version of products installed.

Hi, Dean.

The default path to CP from the Community Server is <URL>/controlpanel
I've tried to change it to
  1. <URL>/controlpanel/Https
  2. <URL>/controlpanel/Https/
  3. <URL>/controlpanel/https
  4. <URL>/controlpanel/https/
But with no success.

Currently from the docker ps -a command I can see the following versions:
  1. controlpanel-ee:1.5.0.11 (this was updated from 1.0.9, if I'm not mistaken)
  2. communityserver-ee:8.7.279
  3. documentserver-ee:3.7.0.81
  4. mailserver:1.5.0

Please try to rerun the installation script with the following parameters:

Code: Select all
bash enterprise-install.sh -ims=false -ids false -icp false -ics true -u true

Thanks, Dean!

your suggestion helped, but I had to make 2 changes:
  1. script call had to be changed to: bash enterprise-install.sh -ims false -ids false -icp false -ics true -u true (changed '=' sign into space ' ')
  2. in enterprise-install.sh I've amended check_kernel value in "Ubuntu" section from "3.13.0-53-generic" to "3.13.0-24-generic" because otherwise I got an error message "Not supported OS Kernel".

After I logged back into the CP, I see that components are considered as "not installed". Is that an issue? I mean if I try to Install them, will I loose all my previous data?

Please try to empty cache & cookies of the browser, restart all the containers, and if it doesn't help and all the components ill be listed again as not installed, try to install them.

Please contact us and specify if it helped.

Btw, thank you for the correction. updated my post.
