[Document Server] Mail merge

Hi,

In Document Server, is there a way to do a mail merge without setting up an account in the mail module ?
We already have a webmail and don't want to use the mail module.

Hello!
Theoretically it's possible. It needs to load your addresses from your database. In Enterprise Edition we load addresses from community server's database.

If you use this config
Code: Select all
ar docEditor = new DocsAPI.DocEditor("placeholder", {
    "document": {
        "title": "Example Document Title.docx",
        ...
    },
    "editorConfig": {
        "mergeFolderUrl": "http://example.com/select-mailmerge-folder.html?title={title}&fileuri={fileuri}",
        ...
    },
    ...
});

then for the pdf format, clicking on the Save button will open the iframe for the following address:
https://example.com/select-mailmerge-fo ... ument.docx
that is instead of {title} will be substituted Example Document Title.pdf and instead of {fileuri} will be substituted this (https://documentserver/url-to-merged-document.docx)

Seems a little bit complicated but i will take a look :)

Is there any plan to integrate this in the interface ?
