inherit permissions in common documents

Postby bevito » Mon Oct 16, 2017 8:37 pm

Dear OnlyOffice Team,

We had an issue with sharing permissions on common documents.

Here is an example to explain the problem :

1 - Create a folder "IT" in "Common documents" with an admin user.
2 - Share this folder : add "IT" group with full access with an admin user.
3 - Create a doc file "test.docx" with an admin user
4 - Share this file :
* "IT" group has full access (inherit permissions)
* "admin" group has full access (inherit permissions)
* Add some users (read only)
* "Everyone" group has deny access

The user "user1" is in "IT" group.

"user1" can't see the doc file "test.docx".
If we set "Everyone" group with read only, "user1" can see and can access the file

Here is the details versions we used :

- Control Panel : 2.1.1.105
- Community Server : 9.1.0.418
- Document Server : 4.4.3.7

If you need others informations, please, let me know.

Thanks a lot.

Hello bevito!
I tried to reproduce your issue with no luck.
If i set "Read only" permission to "user1" he is able to view document only. Changing "Full access" permission for "Everyone" has no result

Hi Maxim,

I uploaded some screenshots, maybe that could help us ?

The first screenshot is taken with Administrator in common documents.
Administrator is owner of all files and folders.

Image

Next, you can see the shared properties of this files.
The group "IUT Orsay - Centre Commun de Ressources Informatiques" has full rights

Image

Next, you can see the common documents with my account (LDAP user)
As you can see, I can't see the file "2017-2018_Suivi_des_comandes.xlsx"

Image

Next, you can see my profile

Image

Finally, you can see the permission of "public" folder (just in case you need it)

Thanks again for your time and your help.

PS : If you need, I can set my profile in English before making screenshots
