[solved] inherit permissions

Postby bevito » Tue Sep 19, 2017 9:57 pm

Dear OnlyOffice Team,

We had an issue with sharing permissions.

Here is an example to explain the problem :

1 - Create a folder "test" in "My Documents" with a user.
2 - Share this folder : add "user1" with full rights.
3 - Create a doc file "test.docx"
4 - Share this file :
* "user1" has full rights
* Add a group "IT" with read only

The user "user1" is in "IT" group.

"user1" can't write to the doc file "test.docx".
It seems that the lowest permission (the group permission) is applied.

In the situation, we expect "user1" to be able to write in the doc file.

Here is the details versions we used :

- Control Panel : 2.1.1.105
- Community Server : 9.1.0.418
- Document Server : 4.4.3.7

If you need others informations, please, let me know.

Thanks a lot.

Hello bevito!
So you are right! There is such "bug". Thank you for this information!
To fix it now you should change permission for "user1" to "Review" and set again to "Full Access".
